Phyllis Lei Furumoto
Today is my anniversary of becoming a Reiki Master. Twenty seven years ago today I was being initiated as a Reiki Master by Phyllis Lei Furumoto in Victoria, BC, Canada. The beginning of one of my most amazing inner and outer world travelling journeys. I no longer seek out to teach Reiki classes though I usually do teach one person every year or so. It just happens. Reiki is still a big part of my journey even if I don’t actively teach anymore. It is still one of my best first aid tools. And such a wonderful self care treatment. I have so much more to say about my Journeying with Reiki and I am sure it will come up as time goes along. For now I just wanted to acknowledge my special day. I treasure my connection with Phyllis and visit with her whenever our paths cross.
