Wow we really are on quite a journey in this moment in time. The biggest part of the recent journey was having my mom pass. I am so amazed at what a great lady she was. Although I can remember that we had some hard times, it is her greatness that shines through. She was so loving and giving and generous; fun and playful and just an all around wondrous being.
Nothing could ever prepare me for the feelings and experiences I have gone through. Everything from sitting with her for three days and evenings and sleeping in the room with her on the last night to co-creating a wondrous Celebration of Life. In fact we did a second one at Arrowsmith Lodge where she lived and where Dad still lives. And in between taking care of the business of death business and celebrating mom by going to see the movie Mamma Mia twice and totally enjoying three different performances by the Bard2Broadway group in Parksville. Activities mom loved and that we loved to do with her.
I want to write more on this and right now I want to say that I am experimenting with writing this on scribefire. We are also on such a journey with learning to blog and working with xsitepro2 to bring our website up to date. And this is just a drop in the bucket for what we are up to and where we are heading.
Oh yeah, the other thing I wanted to mention is the feeling that I am a better or greater person in some way since mom passed. I suspect that what is happening is that I am feeling surrounded by love. The knowedge that I am Love is melting into the experience. Well, not every minute but it is strong and something I can tune into any moment.
